Industry Requirements
Students will be required to undertake a minimum of 100 hours of professional industry vocational placement within an approved Education & Care setting for successful completion of this qualification. Professional practice hours should be treated as a guide only.

Should you undertake this course of study with ACTAC you may complete HLTAID003 or HLTAID004 or HLTAID011 or HLTAID012 (Provide First Aid) as an elective unit. This unit cannot be completed through distance mode and requires a face to face class to be undertaken successfully in order for students to achieve competency in this unit. Because ACTAC is an online / distance educator this unit is not provided by ACTAC. Should students wish to complete this unit they must undertake this with a local provider at their cost and we can then provide a credit for this subject.
