Application for Enrolment Policy

Introduction

The Application for Enrolment Policy was formulated cognisant of 2025 Standards for RTOs, including Outcome Standard 2.1.

Scope and Application

The policy is applicable to all prospective learners undertaking course programs with the College.

This policy aims to maximise the chance that learners will successfully complete their training by conducting effective pre-screening to confirm the suitability of the course for the learner and identify and respond to any support needs the learner may have.

Overview

The College’s primary purpose is the provision of quality vocational education and training programs to learners.

To specify the conditions under which the College will apply its Application for Enrolment Policy to conduct effective screening to determine the individual’s preparedness for the level of study, identify any support needs and provide access to the required support throughout the training.

The College will apply this policy consistently and fairly across all programs and any learner enrolling or considering enrolling into a program at the College.

Enrolment Process

The College is focused on ensuring student success and maintaining the integrity of the VET sector. The College ensures that all relevant information is available via its website {www.actac.com.au} or otherwise upon request to allow applicants to make informed decisions on whether to apply to study with the College.

By submitting an online application for enrolment form and paying the required amount the applicant acknowledges that they are submitting an application for enrolment after reviewing all course information. The College Support Team will assess the suitability of the course applied for in relation to the student’s career goals, education history and past and current work experience and any other information provided to it by the applicant. This includes and is not limited to an initial Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital (LLND) assessment and encouragement to self-identify educational, English language skills, and disability status, or any other factors that may require support or limit learner ability to successfully complete their course.
