|Fees:||$1,998 total cost. This is paid by the student in two instalments of $999. The first instalment at time of enrolment and the second instalment of $999 when the student reaches the half way point in their course. This payment method allows our students more flexibility and access to education opportunities.|
|Recognised Prior Learning:||All students will have the opportunity to have their prior learning assessed.|
|Course Delivery||External Mode. You will also undertake a work placement (Minimum 240 hours in an approved education and care service)|
Participants will be required to undertake a minimum of 240 hours of professional industry vocational placement within an approved Education & Care setting for successful completion of this qualification. Professional practice hours should be treated as a guide only. ACTAC is happy to assist students in finding and obtaining a suitable work placement if required.
Studying with Us (External Mode)
Students receive a Learning Guide which includes readings, activities and assessment. This allows students to study at a time and place convenient to them. All external students have a dedicated Trainer who provides regular support as well as on the job training and assessment.
Should you undertake this course of study with ACTAC you are required to complete HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting as it is a core unit. This unit cannot be completed through distance mode and requires a face to face class to be undertaken successfully in order for students to achieve competency in this units. Because ACTAC is an online / distance educator this unit is not provided by ACTAC. Students must undertake this with a local provider at their cost and we provide a credit for this subject.
